Hello, my name is Shohei. I am a business executive working in the education industry in Tokyo.

When I was a university student, I traveled abroad frequently and had many opportunities to use English. However, almost 20 years have passed since I graduated, and I have rarely used English since then. As a result, my speaking ability has declined significantly.

I am now serious about improving my practical English skills again.

I am looking for a private English tutor who can meet me in person once a week for about 3–4 hours, preferably at a fixed time. I am flexible about the location as long as it is within Tokyo.

Rather than having a traditional lesson for the entire time, I would like to create an “English-only half day” every week.

For example, we could have coffee, practice business English, discuss business, education, current events, culture or travel, take a walk while talking, or have lunch together.

My goal is to regain my English ability and become comfortable communicating naturally in English for several hours.

I would especially welcome someone with business experience who enjoys discussing a wide range of topics and can correct important mistakes while encouraging me to speak as much English as possible.

If we are a good match, I would like to continue this arrangement every week for the long term.
