- A. Presenting the Facts & Making a Persuasive Argument B. Legal Vocabulary & Expressions
- Course requirements
- This workshop will help to build your confidence discussing and writing about legal issues in English. You will also develop a more comfortable presentation style and rhythm.
Each 60-minute lesson will explore the different framework components, persuasive writing/speaking techniques, and relevant vocabulary.
The subsequent Legal Discussion and Writing 2 to 5 provide more detailed instruction on specific skill sets. - Details
- This course will help you to better understand how to: analyse common law, case law, and statutes; research legal questions; and, conduct legal analysis. In addition to fine-tuning your legal reasoning, we will also explore the art of legal writing, including: structuring legal arguments; writing compelling memoranda; and presenting in a clear and convincing manner.
Workshop supplements: writing samples and case studies.
