Comment: Hello! I am a fully qualified English teacher and have been working for a top language school in Tokyo for four years. I now live with my Japanese wife in Tokyo before which I taught Business and General English to many Japanese people in Oxford and London. I ran my own businesses and have led a diverse life so have gained much experience of the world and its cultures. I graduated from London University with a Degree in French and German. Course requirements: An intermediate or higher level of English; the ability to write coherently and express opinion in a logical way.
Details: For the last two years I have been correcting written work for Japanese clients. This has taken the form of setting them an essay question concerning something of topical or personal interest, which I can then mark and suggest alternative structure and expressions. I can, of course, proofread other documents from a language perspective only.

(1) 現在の生徒数
現在、私が働いている語学学校でプライベートの生徒さん5人と、マンツーマンレッスンのビジネス英語の生徒さんが11人います。レッスンのために、生徒さんたちの個々の職場に行きます。

(2) 日本語でのメール問い合わせについて
私自身は日本語でメッセージを交換することはできませんが、妻が日本人なので日本語でのやりとりが可能です。

(3) 教材について（おすすめ教材など）
特に求められない限り、あまり教科書は使っていません。ビジネス英語の生徒さんとのレッスンでは、初級から上級レベルまでの「Market Leader」シリーズを使います。より一般的な英語の場合は、「Headway」を使っています。しかし、例などに生徒さん自身の生活環境などを用いることができるので、「Reality English」が好ましいです。

(4) レッスン場所について（おすすめのカフェなど）
JRや東京メトロ駅の中や近くにあるコーヒーショップならどこでもいいです。「Doutor」が最も安いようで、「Tullys」はそれより少し高いです。「Starbucks」はあまりにも混雑していて騒がしいので使っていません。

(5) レッスンについて（特に好んで教えているレッスンなど）
一般文法、ソーシャルイングリッシュ、ビジネス英語のレッスン。生徒さんの意見の表現、論理的な議論および読み聞かせがいいと思います。アピールポイントとしては、生徒さんが知らないような、新しい/改訂された言語や構造を教えることができることです。

生徒さんにとって私はきっととても親しみやすく、個々の状況やニーズに合わせることができるでしょう。私の多様な人生経験と、幅広い知識によって、生徒さんと何らかの共通点を見つけることができます。
