English Playmate for Our 3-Year-Old Daughter

We are looking for an English speaker to help our 3-year-old daughter enjoy English naturally through play. Both parents speak basic English and will be at home during each session. We are not looking for formal lessons or babysitting, but a natural English-speaking environment.

You could read picture books, play with toys, draw, or enjoy simple activities together. We would appreciate it if you could describe activities in simple English and gently encourage her to use words and short phrases. No teaching materials are needed.

About our daughter

* Understands simple English and Japanese.
* Knows some English words and expressions and can count to around 40.
* May be shy at first but warms up when comfortable.
* Her pronunciation is still developing.

Details
* Location: Our home in Omihachiman, Shiga
* Schedule: Saturdays anytime or Sunday afternoons
* Frequency: Twice a month, 1–2 hours per session
* We have toys and picture books in both languages.
* Teaching experience to kids is not required. Patience and a love of playing with kids are most important.

Parking is available, or we may be able to pick you up from the nearest station.

We are looking for a friendly and energetic English-speaking tutor or playmate for our twin boy and girl.

The main goal is to help them enjoy English naturally through play and everyday activities rather than formal lessons.

What We’d Like You to Do

* Play with the children in English
* Play card games, karuta, and other educational games
* Read books and tell stories in English
* Teach basic phonics and pronunciation
* Encourage conversation and communication through fun activities

About the Children

* Energetic twin boy and girl
* Curious, active, and enjoy interacting with others
* Looking for a positive and engaging English environment

Preferred Qualifications

* Native or fluent English speaker
* Experience working with young children is a plus
* Patient, responsible, and enthusiastic
* Able to make learning fun and interactive

Schedule

* Approximately 1 hour per day (Around 5 to 8 PM is preferable)

Compensation

* Negotiable based on experience, qualifications, and availability
