- Outline and format of presentations, designing and practicing presentations
- Course can be adapted for many levels.
Lower levels will focus primarily on outlines and giving simple presentations
Higher levels will focus on expanding presentation material and practicing presentation techniques in English
- Lesson one focuses on the structure of presentations and contains practice for opening and closing presentations.
Lesson two focuses on developing a presentation with the teacher and beginning to practice it with the teacher. The first topic will be cultural information.
Lesson three focuses on developing a presentation with the teacher based on the student's interests. This involves going over new vocabulary needed for presenting about a topic that the student is interested in.
Lesson four focuses on expanding the students presentation and delivering it for extra practice and confidence building. Additional vocabulary and grammar will be introduced to improve the presentation.

Lower levels will focus on new grammar / vocabulary and survival English in the UK.
Higher levels will focus on deeper cultural information and use of higher level grammar to develop confidence with the language.
All levels will be introduced to some UK slang / idioms
- This is a speaking - focused class.
Students may choose from various different topics about traveling to the UK. A basic course will contain four topics, but additional topics may be taught after the course.

An interest in learning about the world of Scottish Whisky
All levels welcome.
Lower levels will focus on learning new vocabulary and talking about what whisky they like.
Higher levels will focus on learning about deeper cultural and production aspects of whisky as well as being able to compare and contrast various types of whisky.
- The course will take place either at a private residence or at a location where some Scottish Whisky is available for tasting such as a British Pub.
The course will introduce the four main varieties of Scottish Single Malt whiskies, and also give an outline of other types, ie Blended Whisky / Grain Whisky.
A detailed introduction to the art of whisky tasting will also be given.
Separate cost is required for those who wish to try the whisky tasting
This course may be taken as a group.
