This course is open to anyone however ideally students should be of at least lower intermediate ability.
During this course we will learn how to translate subtitles from English to Japanese using video materials that have not been released in Japan. Due to cultural differences, nuances and limited space available, translation of subtitles can be a challenge but nonetheless extremely fun and satisfying when done properly. The student will be provided with the necessary materials and given the task to translate subtitles to prepare for the lesson. This course is brought to you by a teacher with over 10 years experience working in the field of translation.

This is because the sound system used by "Katakana English" is completely different to natural English.
